Based at the Public Security Police Training School is a New Opportunities Learning Centre, under the supervision of the ANQ - National Agency of Qualification.













Rules and Regulations

-  Have Portuguese nationality;

-  Not be under the age of 19 or have completed 27 years of age by January 1st of the year enrolment admissions commence;

-  Be at least 1.60 m or 1.65 m tall, respectively for female candidates and male candidates;

-  Have the physical strength and psychological profile required to carry out police functions and duties and have fulfilled the compulsory vaccination laws;

-  Minimum qualifications for entry: the 12th grade or equivalent;

-  Not have been convicted of any felony;


-  Have good moral and social behaviour;

-  Not have failed in any previous Training Courses for Agents;

-  Not have the status of conscientious objector;


-  Have fulfilled the military service law and have been considered fit by the respective inspection board, if so submitted;


-  If you have completed or presently serve in the military, be classified in the 1st or 2nd classes of behaviour;


-  Not be deprived in practising public functions or forbidden to perform the duties to which you are applying.
